The project
The International Erasmus Games (IEG) are a pan European health and well-being initiative of ESN. We unite exchange students from all over Europe in an effort to promote sports as a universal language which is understood by everyone. Our efforts break all the barriers which separate the local and international communities of Europe and bring together people from all backgrounds, nationalities and age groups under the motto of healthy competition.
IEG Milan 2025
Gear up for IEG 2025 in Milan! Where the energy of international students and ESN volunteers meets the passion of Italy. Expect epic sports battles and activities that turn strangers into family. It’s not just a tournament—it’s where Erasmus hearts beat as one. See you on the field!
Milan, the beating heart of Italy's northern region, is a city where tradition meets innovation. Located in the heart of Lombardy, it is Italy’s second-largest city and home to over 1.3 million residents. Beyond its style, Milan is a treasure trove of history, with iconic landmarks like Duomo di Milano, the majestic Sforza Castle, and Leonardo da Vinci’s Last Supper. A true symbol of Italian style and ambition, Milan is ready to welcome you!
Erasmus Student Network
Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is one of the biggest student associations in Europe. It was born on the 16th October 1989 and legally registered in 1990 for supporting and developing student exchange.
We are present in more than 1,000 Higher Education Institutions over 45 countries. The network is constantly developing and expanding. We have around 15,000 active members that are in many sections supported by so called buddies mainly taking care of international students. Thus, ESN involves around 40,000 young people offering its services to around 350,000 international students every year.
