Guidelines on Health and Wellbeing
For young people, volunteering in the field of sports can become a powerful way to improve their health and well-being while connecting with their peers. The following guidelines have been designed to support ESN Member Organisations, both on the Local and National levels, to create activities that are inclusive, impactful, and tailored to the needs of diverse groups, especially youth and international students.
As they focus on inclusion and well-being, these guidelines showcase practical ways to design sports activities that are both accessible and meaningful. They also highlight how volunteering can become a tool for building strong communities and fostering personal growth.
The document is built around three key questions:
